Dear reader,
We have often wondered how many people
look at our adventures but have not devoted ourselves to feedback forms or hit
counters. However, the admiral commanded that we must have an e-mail address and
this was naturally done. We were concerned not to attract spam, which often
results when one posts their e-mail address on a website. So, we created an
account at yahoo.com called svamante. If we don't spell out the address just
right, e.g. spam@yahoo.com, it's because we don't want spam.
We will check this whenever we have a
regular Internet connection, which is often not often. We have e-mail on the
boat but are very loathe to provide that because we couldn't deal with spam over
a shortwave radio connection. If you do contact us and wish a more direct boat
connection we will be happy to oblige. We always like to hear from those who
know our other e-mail addresses.
We do apologize if we have not had time to
receive or respond to your messages. We often don't know when or how we will
find Internet service.
Thanks for reading!
John & Vera
